Question ryzen 5, i5 serie u o i5 serie h? I'm so cofused

Hi guys,
I need to buy a laptop, I'm completely confused, but based on my budget I think I can choose between:

• ryzen 5 vega 8
• i5 8xxxU mx150 (or 130 I do not remember well)
• i5 8300H 1050 smooth

I would like to buy the best laptop that gives me the right compromise as:

• portability (I do not claim 10h of battery, of course I need 4-5)
• gaming (720 is enough)
• work (creative)

seeing the various videos and comparative table, it seems that the two i5s are equivalent and this upsets me because if they were identical in performance, I would obviously go towards the U version that heats up less.

So what is the budget? I would go for the i5 + 1050 like the MSI GL63 8RC (also lighter then competitors)

I would avoid the amd laptop due to amds poor drives support crippling performance with the integrated gpu. The 8300+1050 is the best if you can afford it. The mx150 delivers a bit better framerate than the integrated uhd graphics on the cpu, but the mx150 draws extra power and kills battery life. The mx150 isnt a smart move for nvidia.
