[SOLVED] Ryzen 7 2700 vs i3-12100

Which is better for gaming? Which one is more energy efficient? Why would you choose it instead the other?
I have an RTX 3050 gpu and 16gb dualkit trident royal 3200mhz rams if it matters.

For the majority of games, I would probably lean towards the i3-12100 or if you can stretch to the 12400 that would be ideal.

2700 has more threads, but much less single core performance. Certain heavily threaded games may perform better on it. And it will be a superior CPU for multitasking, such as streaming while gaming and the like.
