Last Year prior to the Cold War integration update I was getting around 140-180 FPS depending on the area. Now im barely getting past 110 in most areas. i ran a user benchmark test so you can see what im running. I was wondering if maybe overclocking will help my situation? I just want to get my frames back. I also overclocked my RAM speed to 3800MHz. I also have warzone stored on my C: drive which is the 970 EVO if that helps. I also dont have shadowplay on or xbox game bar on either.

UserBenchmarks: Game 93%, Desk 94%, Work 93%
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - 88.7%
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060S (Super) - 99.7%
SSD: Samsung 970 Evo NVMe PCIe M.2 500GB - 245.3%
SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB - 104.6%
RAM: G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3600 C16 2x8GB - 90.3%
MBD: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC (MS-7B85)

Yeah id suspect Warzone itself. Hopefully an update comes soon from them.

For now i guess try different graphics settings in game and change render core values to like 6 or maybe try 16 and any number inbetween.

Try edit renderworkercount in config file to the amount of cores you have, 8.

Link us to your userbench results page because those percentages don't mean much. What we're after is details on frequencies for various components and background usage which UB will show us when we visit your results page.

I already changed the render count config file to 8. Heres the UB link my apologies.

All looks pretty good, nothing screaming out it's hardware related. I'd say it's most likely game specific along with possibly being Geforce driver version.

Someone might suggest something else but for time being search game specific answers rather than hardware.

Yes it is very game specific. I always kept my drivers updated but I recently wiped my PC and reinstalled windows so I’ve just been using the old driver. The GeForce Driver I’m at currently actually gave me a 5-10 FPS boost. I’ll try again updating to see if it makes a difference and if not I’ll just rollback again.

I was wondering if I should overclock my CPU and GPU? I kinda already tweaked with MSI Afterburner a little bit and noticed a bit of a performance increase but I don’t mess with it too much because I’m kinda scared.

Overclock will help some but won't make up for what you've lost. My money is on what we both suspect. A setting, game update bugging a particular graphics setting, possibly ray tracing, shadows etc or update not agreeing with Geforce driver ( maybe try several versions back ).

Mess around with Geforce driver versions and see latest Warzone Nvidia tweaks/optimisations.

As far as Windows settings I have Xbox Game Bar set to Off, Game Mode set to On, Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling set to On, and Graphics Performance Preference set to Warzone.

Here are my Nvidia Control Panel settings. I also changed the "PhysX Settings" processor choice to my RTX 2060 Super.

here are my In Game Settings. the last few settings i didnt bother to include because its motion blur and dynamic resolution stuff all which i have disabled. I dont care for graphics so i dont use raytracing.

ill wait for more responses from others before I try another driver.

Sometimes game updates really ruin a game performance. Or simple add a lot of graphic improvements that comes at the cost of negative performance decrease.
It happend to me and hundred of people who play Elite Dangerous, Frontier Development launched the new dlc "Odyssey". Odyssey destroyed the FPS performance on every situation, it was/is a product that is not finished, nor polished. Its been a month and half and they still trying to figure out how to fix performance.

yeah Warzone decided to combine with Cold War and since then it’s been downhill with the performance. This is the only game I get low FPS with. Every other game I can crank up my settings to high and still get 240 FPS.

I looks like you might not be at the latest bios.
Do you have the latest chipset driver?
How hot does your cpu get when gaming?

I’m not on the latest bios, but is it really that big of an issue? I can crank my settings to high in every other game and still get 240 FPS.

I was not on the latest chipset driver for my Processor but I will be updating in a bit.

I doubt my CPU gets hot because my GPU is out doing most of the work. When I play warzone, my GPU usage is about 85-90% and my CPU usage is around like 45-50% but i will let you know in a bit.

Using an MSI Afterburner, my CPU temp while gaming is a 70-74C on average. My min was 65C and my Max was 85C.

Updated my chipset driver and noticed in my MSI Afterburner, that the white half circle around my GPU Clock has increased.

EDIT: closed MSI afterburner and opened it back up and the half circle around my GPU Clock has decreased, guess it was a visual error.

The bios is just a piece of the puzzle.
Your call if you want to update it.
Do not get the beta.
