Hello, quite recently I noticed that my cpu temps are getting hotter. Usually my temps while idle is around 40c and 70c under load, recently my idle temps with very few things running is 60c with a few spikes to 70c and only watching youtube it averages at around 70c with the maximum being 80c. I have refilled my aio and I have replaced the thermal paste recently. I have also undervolted my cpu to reduce the temps but it is still running hot. Any suggestions on how I could reduce my cpu temps, because currently I cannot play any games without risking damaging my cpu and crashing my pc.

Below is my PC specs
-corsair 4000d (3x 120mm exhaust fan)
-msi x570 gaming plus
-Ryzen 7 3800xt
-be quiet silent loop 2 280mm (2x 140mm intake fans)
-arctic mx 4 thermal paste
-Nvidia RTX 2060
-2x16gb corsair vengeance rgb pro 3600mhz

Update:
Found out the problem to the problem, my AIO pump died because of a evaporation problem by air bubbles. I switched my CPU cooler now to a Noctua NH-U12A which dropped my cpu temps down to the 40c's.
How old is your setup? What is your ambient temp like? What BIOS are you running?
Have you tried reinstalling Windows? Which software are you using to monitor temps? Have you tried multiple softwares to crosscheck?

CPUs do not get damaged easily as they have failsafe when operating threshold is crossed.. The system will throttle to lower temps or simply shut down if it cannot handle the heat.

I don't really remember how old my setup is. My ambient temps should be around 25c-28c with my ac on. American Megatrends International, LLC. A.M0, 13/10/2023 is my current bios. I have reinstalled windows, also I used AMD Ryzen Master, Hwinfo, Core Temp, and also Hwmonitor to crosscheck. All of which stated the same things with only minor temp difference (00.x)

As per manufacturer support page, the last BIOS was released on 2023-10-20 version No. 7C37vAM, and assuming you are on that latest BIOS, nothing looks wrong anywhere else, other than I would assume a general degradation of the operating quality of the board over a prolonged period of usage or the AIO loosing efficiency again over a prolonged period of usage.
That is not a very high quality board to begin with, basic features and components, in the range of Tier D as per the Tier Lists, both Linus and Buildapc list included and even considering Toms own review. Most of the modern boards use polymer capacitors as far as I know for their VRM, which inspite of being better than electrolytic capacitors which were used in the past, also tend to degrade over time, specially due to high temps over a prolonged period of usage. The 10 Phases (8+2) regulator with eight 46A MOSFETs is average in terms of handling load when compared to better quality boards as per the reviews.
To narrow it down further you might have to test with another board, possibly a newer or better one or another cooler, again possibly a newer one. That's all I could infer from the available data and your account, but there might be something I am missing which someone else can point out.
