Question Ryzen 7 5700x PBO and manual OC

So i read on here and other sources that PBO was the way to go on the 5000 series... I was a bit skeptical on that assumption because PBO wasnt worth a damn on the 3000 series. The PBO set the 5700x to draw 1.425 volts on the core and soc 1.25 volts. Drawing a total of 154 watts measured in HWinfo and some janky stints i soldered on the board. HW monitor is usually within about 5% +/- of my actual measurements which is pretty good considering its free... oh and the CPU clock boosted to around 4.66 ghz. With my manual OC at 4.55 ghz, 1.1 core v and 1.05 soc v, i got power draw down to just 99 watts total which in turn took temps from 68c down to 55c. Um, PBO and curve optimizer were good starts, but still fell short of all hype.

PBO just sets different limits, but ye +200mhz on 3000 series its all it does, which isnt much

on 5000 serie you can use hydra for overclock

yeah applying a negative offset in curve optimizer did nothing but produce "unstable" results.... sitting around for 45 minutes last night while that process took place all for the results to come back not usable was real fun ha

On an Asus board is that the auto oc stuff? What's it called? I didn't mess with that yet

EZ System tuning on main page in BIOS and TPU(I and II) in Advanced menu. Neither one is worth it.- There's also DOCP for setting memory and XMP.
