Country: Iceland
Budget: ~450,000 ISK (~$3,300 USD)
Primary Use: High-refresh 1080p/1440p gaming, multitasking, streaming
Monitors: Dual monitor setup (1080p 165Hz gaming + secondary screen)
OS: Already owned

Priorities:
- Strong single-core CPU performance (important for high-FPS gaming and responsiveness)
- Zero CPU/GPU bottlenecks
- DDR5 6000 CL30 RAM with EXPO support
- Fast PCIe Gen4 SSDs (2TB boot + 4TB storage)
- Compatible motherboard for Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Case with 4 front USB-A ports
- Slightly positive airflow (top-mounted AIO, front intakes)
- Reliable 850W PSU (ATX 3.0) for future upgrades

---

Full Build:

| Component | Model | Price (ISK) |
|--------------|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|-------------|
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D | 77,900 |
| CPU Cooler | ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 AIO (Black, top-mounted) | 29,990 |
| Motherboard | ASUS X670-P Prime WiFi (ATX, DDR5, AM5, WiFi 6, 2.5GbE) | 69,995 |
| RAM | G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO (2×16GB) | 27,900 |
| SSD 1 | Samsung 990 Pro 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe (Boot/Primary) | 30,900 |
| SSD 2 | Crucial P3 Plus 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe (Games/Storage) | 39,900 |
| GPU | AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB | 97,500 |
| Case | DeepCool Morpheus Black (4 front USB-A, 4× 140mm intake fans) | 44,500 |
| PSU | Corsair RM850x 850W 80+ Gold (Modular, ATX 3.0 compliant) | 31,900 |

---

Cooling & Airflow Setup:
- 4 × 140mm front intake (stock)
- 3 × 120mm radiator fans (top exhaust, mounted to AIO)
- 1 × 120mm rear exhaust
Result: Slightly positive pressure airflow (ideal for GPU cooling + dust control)

---

Questions / Feedback Requested:
- Any reliability issues or BIOS quirks with the ASUS X670-P Prime WiFi and Ryzen 7 9800X3D?
- Is the Crucial P3 Plus 4TB sufficient for games/media, or worth upgrading?
- Suggestions to improve airflow or optimize fan layout in DeepCool Morpheus?
- General performance balance for gaming + streaming at 1080p/1440p?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

1| You might want to look into a B850 chipsetted board, steering clear of ASRock boards and looking at a board with a beefy VRM design.

2| That would depend on your games installation size and how many games you have in your library.

3| I'd set all fans to intake and leave the rear empty to allow for positive air pressure and see how your temps are.

4| This site and the majority of it's userbase are located in USA, since you're located in Iceland, you should mention your preferred site for purchase so we're able to see what you have access to. Brand and product availability can and will vary with regards to region. Deepcool is banned in USA, mind you...while you guys might not have favorable pricing for other parts.

I would look into the RX 9070 XT or the RTX 5070 Ti if they're priced the same as your GPU listed above.

Thank you for the review!! I’ll look into the b850s. What kind do you recommend? This is the site that I use for purchasing all my parts (https://vaktin.is/index.php?action=prices&method=display&cid=11). This is for the cpu cooler(https://tolvutek.is/Tolvur-og-skjair/Ihlutir/Kaelingar/Arctic-Liquid-Freezer-III-PRO-360mm-AIO-vatnskaeling-AMD---Intel,-svort/2_40566.action).
