News Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D listed at $699 and $599, same prices as last-gen

Too bad they did not add the cache to both dies, I might have been willing to upgrade and transfer the 7950X3D I have into my secondary computer. But the gain generation over generation are not as significant as they usually are.

Zen 6 moving to 12 core ccd and 2nm on 4nm IO. 10900X3D will be just one ccd, making it the new gaming champ I'd say as 10950X3D will be 24 cores and have 2 ccd's and will cost a lot more.

Totally agree. I was hoping since they solved the frequency thing, we'd get double cache. I don't even see any rumored threadrippers with extra cache, and even stranger i haven't seen any epyc X in the zen 5 gen.

Yeah, if the higher catch becomes more available, then code can become optimized to use it and gain efficiency.

Nobody is going to spend resources on that, games are either optimized to the amount of cache the current consoles have or they just use as much as they can/there is.
AMD would have to make an app, like intel did the task manager or the application optimizer, but it's AMD so don't hold your breath.
