Hi Guys, I'm now building a gaming desktop. But for the CPU, Intel I9-9900K/ I9-9900KS or AMD Ryzen have their pros and cons. I'm not sure which CPU I should choose to get the best performance out of it. Can I get some suggestions and opinions from you guys? Thank you!!

If you are not extreme overclocking, ignore the warning and just connect the single CPU 8 pin.

Why does your post link to a bunch of out of stock parts?

Does this change in parts affect the performance? Like it decreases the performance or increases? And I'm actually going for a 4k monitor.

240mm aio, what do you suggest?
Well I was going to buy a Nzxt Kraken for mine but the guys in a fairly reputable shop in the uk talked me out of it saying they have a lot of returns with them and the software is garbage and needed for control so I just grabbed a h100x. I have had quite a few corsair aios and they always run like clockwork with no issues. Depends if you want rgb though.

So, what you are meaning is that it will work if you are not extreme overclocking?
Btw, I have edited what you suggested for my pc parts:

Swap the memory back the fastest you should go on Ryzen is 3600 as after I think it's 3733 MHZ the ratio with the infinity fabric in the CPU changes and lowers performance.

It will work fine if you are not putting stupid Overclocks on yes, I would recommend against manually overclocking and let the CPU boost itself.

Manually Overclocking, like msi afterburner?

Manually Overclocking the CPU, the GPU is powered by a seperate cable and is overclocked in software on the desktop.

You overclock the CPU by using either the BIOS or AMDs Ryzen Master software (dunno how good this is) but you don’t need this on AMD, on intel for the best performance I would say you should overclock the CPU because you’re going Blue Team for the frequency advantage, for AMD not really for gaming.

Swap out the bloody RAM! XD it’s 4000Mhz which will tank your performance on AMD, do NOT go higher than 3600MHz, also get 2 sticks of 16GB not 4 of 8GB, leaves you room to expand later also the case is significantly worse than what I suggested and the cooler although good isn’t by ASUS so RBG syncing will be more difficult.

Guys, what do we do when we have a AIO cooler for CPU. Do we connect the AIO Cooler to the CPU before placing it into the case or do we connect the AIO Cooler to the CPU after we place it into the case?
