So I have an issue with my computer connecting to internet via ethernet, so I posted on a forum asking for help. Some have been trying to help me, but one person is asking for my ip and default gateway. Nothing bad can be done with this info right?
I've heard IP addresses be compared to the numbers on your building, and nothing bad can be done with them only. But what about with my default gateway, as well the info from "ipconfig" in the command prompt of the computer I'm having issues with (granted because of those problems, it doesn't already display ips and default gateway correctly).
Any help is very appreciated.
