Safecount.net - Virus?

I'm getting a pop-up that asks me to take a suvey from Safecount.net. I only get this when I am on Tom's Hardware. Do I have a virus or is this something built into the Tom's Hardware website?

Like the O.P., this is the only site where I see these guys running ads.

OK...so it's not a virus.

It's advertising put in place by TomsHardware.com.

Why does TomsHardware hide "safecount" from a search of the site or the forums? The only way to find this post is to google safecount+tomshardware

Sounds a little underhanded...if you're delaying page views by replacing the entire site page, you shouldn't be hiding that from your users. It's normal to ask questions.
 

They're not, the site search sucks. You need to make sure you don't use the "All Words" search option if you ever want to find anything.

What page are they replacing the entire site page with? What are you talking about? Give up the link, I want to read it for myself, because you failed to present a cogent argument.

I get it on eBay Motors, comes on at the bottom of the screen. I clicked on it and it did a survey for Yahoo.com. I complained to Yahoo.com. PS- I did the survey with really bad information.. LOL
