I have 2 HDDs where I use Hot Plug to remove one of them with the system still running, but after installing an NVMe SSD and installing Windows on it, that option to safely remove the HDDs no longer appears ?

I had to move the 2 HDDs to different SATA ports because the NVMe SSD disabled 2 of them.

Is the Hot Plug feature only available on Mobo's SATA 1 and 2 port or am I missing something ?

EDIT: PC specs is Gigabyte B450 Aorus M (pcie gen3 I will upgrade my PC soon to properly use this SSD), HDD Seagate Barracuda, NVME Kingston Kc3000

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Are you using any sort of RAID?

Hot Swap vs Hot Plug vs Hot Replaceable.

FYI:

https://highpoint-technologies-inc.helpjuice.com/130411-ssd7000-series-controller/what-is-the-difference-between-the-terms-“hot-swap”-“hot-plug”-and-“hot-replaceable”

From the link:

"Currently, NVMe devices do not support true hot-swap."

Then there are comments regarding Hot-Replaceable further down.

More information needed.
On the mobo it says "Hot-plug" but in reality it is indeed Hot-Swap. I am not using any RAID.

The hot plug may be only applicable to specific ports. Or, it may not be enabled for these two new SATA ports.

Your motherboard manual will outline this.
There is no info about hot-plug on the manual.. But from the manual I realized that it has 2 APU SATA ports it seems that it works only on those but with NVME installed these specific ports are automatically disabled
