I need a new joystick that works well with flight sims and other such as Mechwarrior 4. Is this a good choice, or is there another on you could recommend that is under $100?

up here (Canada) you can get the Saitek X36 Combo for under $150 Canadian, which is under $100 US...
I've used it with Flight Sims and Mechwarrior series to my utter and complete delight
The throttle even has a rudder control built in an interesting way, so you can control the rudder on Flight Sims, or the torso/body movement in mechwarrior...
It is an utterly awesome game control setup, if you get a chance to look at it, by all means do
