Hello all , i have upgraded my GPU from a RTX 2060 to a RTX 4070.
Problem: I have still same FPS in CS2 like before , sometimes even worse.

The PC specs are;
B450 Pro Max
Ryzen5 5600
Samsung EVO 970
GSKILL 3000Mhz
RTX 4070
WIN 11 ATLAS OS

-I have reinstalled win11 already
-I have reinstalled the drivers
- The Base CPU CLOCK and GPU CLOCK are on maximum and even DynamicPstates are disabled
- I have checked MSI Afterburner the Clocks are on maximum

CS2 is well known as a CPU limited title. Ryzen 5600 will be setting your maximum FPS.

What the GPU should do for you is allow much higher resolutions and settings. Doesn't really apply to CS2 in competitive settings, but that is also true of pretty much all eSports titles.

If your goal is FPS, CPU first. I recommend the 5700X3D if you want to see an improvement in frame rate. Or jump to AM5 with a 7800X3D.

WOW , ty for the fast reply, anyways i have seen benchmarks even at high resolution 1440p that the FPS are close to 400.

Another factor would be your 3000 MT/s memory. Ryzen likes faster memory as that sets the speed of the infinity fabric connecting the I/O die to the CPU die(s). DDR4 3600 with a low latency would gain you some performance as well.

Ask Afterburner to display the GPU load. If it's not at a steady 95-99% it's because you are CPU limited. If you are constantly at 99% and don't get more than you had with the 2060 there might be a problem with the GPU.

Did you ever install the graphics drivers while Afterburner was running? That can do really bad stuff and cripple your GPU (happened to me a few years ago).
