Hi! Yesterday i bought the samsung 950 pro m.2 ssd and i was pretty happy with its speed and i downloaded samsung magician software and i run the benchmark and i noticed that its has lower read iops than samsung claims that it has. :??:

also i have noticed something else... check this picture.

Why do i have 10Gbp/s in x4 pcie? isnt it supose to be faster? Cuse Asus claims that M.2 Pcie has 32Gbp/s in the website.

I have the latest bios and drivers update (also the latest ssd drivers from samsung official site) and i also checked the pcie speeds in bios and the are in the maximum speed. Any solutions?

In case you're still wondering about this...

For PCIe 3.0, the transfer rate per lane is theoretically 10Gbps. With overhead, it's about 8Gbps or so. The 32Gbps claims are combining all four lanes together. 8x4=32.

As far as your IOPS score goes, Samsung is going to be changing their benchmark to more accurately reflect their claims.
