Question Samsung 980 Pro 1Tb not detecting gen 4.

Hello everyone,
My system specs are cpu intel i5 13600k, Mother board Gigabyte z790 UD AX https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z790-UD-AX-rev-10#kf,
2 X 16GB Corsair 5600mhz DDR5, Nvme ssd Samsung 980 pro 1TB & Sata ssd samsung 840 evo 250gb . No Gpu
My Board has 3 x nvme pcie gen 4 slot.. Problem is my system is showing that 980 pro ssd is connected in gen 3 interface & also ssd seq speed benchmark are low, 1500 - 2500 MB/s .
I have tried connecting ssd 980 pro in slot that come with heatsink and then other two slots but the problem remains the same.
What settings I need to change in motherboard to work it in gen4?

doesnt looks like genuine980pro, firmware name is fishy
a little google search for that firmware show leven JP600 (JAJP600) which is gen3x4 drive

visualy compare with your drive
your bios is detecting it as gen3 drive
try updating bios or samsung firmware
I have updated Bios to latest version but problem remains same. when I tried to update ssd firmware to latest it is showing message "No supported SSD detected for Firmware update!!!" & also in 'samsung magician' drive health and temperature is showing N/A.

Where did you buy the ssd from?

Drive details page should say genuine right of the serial number like here.

Which makes me suspicious of this 980pro's legitimacy.

Yes, You are right it is not a genuine 980 Pro SSD.
I have purchased this from here.
I have talked to customer care and they agree to provide me a replacement for the same & will take action on the seller.
