hello,i just found out that the heatsinked ssd is running warm in some games, although 52c might not be too hot,but still im concerned about the temp as it was not under stress or something..
is it because the heat that gpu and cpu generates?
If it's right next to or under the GPU or other heat-emitting components, it might be that.
Games won't do frequent read/writes (except tiny bit) while playing it, and only upon loading the game it does so.
It could also be bad airflow.
A heatsink itself doesn't make the component cooler, it takes the heat away from it and lets airflow carry the heat away through a larger surface area. If airflow is restrictive in your PC case (it shouldn't be like that) It might be that the heat can't be carried out from the heatsink faster than the component emits heat.
Q) Do you have good airflow in your case? (meaning it having fans [intake/exhaust])
Q2) What is model is your PC Case?
