Samsung EcoGreen HD204UI

Hello,
I have been using the Samsung HD204UI 2TB hdd on my Win XP system for some time now, with no apparent problems. Then I noticed that many people on various websites have cautioned against this because of AFT or some other thing that I'm unaware of. My drive was assembled back in June of 2011. Is there truly a problem here?

There is a firmware bug which was addressed by an update.
