[citation][nom]15InTheBigCity[/nom]Folks need to make $15.00 dollers flipping burgers if their monthly rent is around $2000.00, and that is not a lot in New York city or Boston. Do not blame the people in those areas for making $15.00 because most of that is going to the landlord, power company, and food, after U sam gets his cut! If you live in an area where the cost of living is lower then maybe you can afford to work for less, just do a little math before you go saying $15.00 is more than penuts![/citation]

Tell me about it! I quit my normal job and went back to doing odd-jobs because I can charge between 12-15 per hour and control my fuel and food costs related to work. That is pretty decent for being 19 and living in Northern Michigan. Even with that amount in earnings, I'm very limited as to what I'm able to provide for myself and family.

Everything is f*cking expensive! Even doing DIY repairs for my own stuff adds up. Fuel, food, hotels, high taxes, and the fact our money isn't worth very much. Can't wait to build a solar powered boat to live on and leave the land of the working poor.

Why do people think Apple is a US company? They're exactly as American as a rich person with an off-shore account. The company adds next to nothing to the economy, because they maintain a minimal presence. To call Apple a US company is an insult to the companies that actually are American and hire Americans. I'm not hating on China and similar countries, they do good work and provide good products, but while Samsung has exactly the same volume of manufacturing base in foreign countries while also having US head offices, they aren't falsely claiming to be American. Given that Samsung makes most of Apple's core products and all the rest of the components are also made in the same general area, yet Samsung has more offices in the US, it gets really annoying that anyone would claim Apple is 'American' if Samsung is even mentioned. Apple users should stop using that argument if they want to make a point, because starting a verbal fight on the losing end is really really hard to win. Start with the 'square rectangle, equal bezel on the top-bottom, right-left and home button on the bottom, four icons in a grid' (the winning part of the lawsuit) iphone clone thing.

Are you actually claiming rounded corners are a patent infringement? Apple didn't make rounded corners, mothers with small children did. The patent explicitly and requires: rounded corners, a top and bottom bezel of the same size, a side to side bezel of the same size and a home button on the bottom. And this is currently being disputed as a valid patent in Samsungs appeal. If you're going to try to make a point, you have to wholly make a point. 'LOL rounded edges' is not acceptable on a website where people WILL Google what you post.
