[SOLVED] Samsung QVO 1TB disk usage interferes with processes

Good day to all!

I just recently got a new build,

Intel i9 9900k
2080 ti
16gb 3200mhz ram
1 tb samsung qvo ssd

Now my question is, when I start downloading games, programs etc... I get a high disk usage and everything kind of lags.

I thought that this wouldn't be a problem given the build is quite good.

Is this a setting or just the SSD it self not that good?

The QVO-series might not have much (if any) of a write cache, so that writes might be quite a bit slower than with an EVO or Pro drive....

The QVO drives have a minimum of 6GB of SLC cache but this is dynamic and could be as large as 42GB for the 1TB drive. Once you exceed the cache you will drop to it's native 80MB/s speed unfortunately.
