Samsung SSD not showing up in Samsung Magician

After deleting the partitions on the SSD and reformatting and creating a new primary partition on the SSD, it still will not show up in Samsung Magician or Samsung Data Migration. It does show up in device manager, but as "ASMT 2105 USB Device".
I am trying to migrate the OS to this new SSD.

"ASMT 2105 USB Device" indicates that it isn't connected directly to a SATA port. You need to have it connected directly to the SATA controller, not to a USB port.
