Sanitize HDD Under UEFI Boot System

So I want to wipe my hard drive in my laptop and I would like to use the Secure Erase command but HDDErase does not work, it just halts. Do I have an other option which is just as fast and secure?

My laptop has UEFI and currently running Windows 10 Pro. The hdd is 1 TB.

nwipe which is also on bootable parted magic disk works very well. Its pretty much the replacement for dban.
