Sanity Check - Will A TRX 3080 run on an Asus ROG Rampage V Extreme/u3.1 LGA 2011-v3?

I'm asking because the Rampage V only has PCIe 3.0 x16 bus... but the RTX 3080 has PCIe 4.0 x16.
(will this decrease the performance I would normally expect with a RTX 3080... especially in Adobe Premiere Pro?)

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it'll 'work'. PCIE is backwards/forward compatible.

The bandwidth might be slightly limited in some applications, but for the majority of users/use-case, there;s not likely to be any noticeable difference. I'd assume Premiere Pro would be one of those, but can't say definitively.
