Hi all, I hope you can help.
I've bought a (used) Sapphire HD 3850 AGP card, but when I put it in, the PC does not boot up into the bios.
I've upgraded my bios to the latest version and that didn't help either.
I think it might have something to do with the 8 - Pin PCI-E power connector on the card, my PSU only has 2 6-Pin PCI-E power connectors. My PSU is a good one (Akasa 80+) and the 6-pins fit into the 8pin slot nicely, when I power up the fans on the card start spinning normally but no signal is received on the monitor.
Is this a dud card, or am I doing something wrong?
Many Thanks
Simon
