Hi, i bought this graphic card 2/3 weeks ago and everything worked fine, i only noticed that while playing games like far cry etc for a while the gpu gets pretty hot, around 70 degrees celcius, (just with some games tho, for the rest it stays always under 60 degrees), but i know that it isnt a gpu problem but its a case problem (when i see that it gets hotter than 68 degrees i stop playing by the way), but anyway here's my problem, while i was playing i had MSI Afterburner turned off, so i didn't know the temperature of the gpu but i could smell a burning smell from it, and i turned the game off right away, and opened the case, i waited like 10 minutes and turned the game on again just to check if everything worked fine, and it did, but this time the gpu had this rattling/vibrating sound, you can only hear it when the fan speed is over 55%, when it gets over 70% you can hear the sound less, otherwise if its under 55% you gotta open the case put your ear inside of it and you can hear it from there, the sound goes "slower" if the fan speed is slow, so i thought it was a fan problem, i removed the gpu detached the fans and check if they worked properly, and it looks like they do, but i can still hear that sound.
I bought this gpu on ebay (it was new) and i dont know if i can and i dont know how to RPM the card, do you guys know how i can resolve this problem? its very annoying.

p.s: i tried to touch the card while gaming, to block the vibration but it doesnt change anything.

this is the sound that it makes, i recorded it http://vocaroo.com/i/s0LOmZ7B9AoA it starts when the fan speed is under 55% and than it goes over 55 and you can start to hear that sound.

About temperature, it ok, before u start doing such things inform your self what is the max temperature, i tell you is 90-100 degrees C, is more then fine to be in 76-80, actually the profiles are made to keep it at 76, because of the noise when fans speed up. Now about the ratling sound try to stop manually a fan when your gaming, just put the finger on the center of the fan see which makes the noise, my asus r9 290x oc came from the factory with fan blade touching the power cable of the fan, i just squeezed a bit more the cable into the lock and it is perfect now.

I dont think it is the case, it is designed to work at 70-80 degrees.

thanks a lot for the help, I just did it and I found out which fan it was, if I touch the fan on the left the sound stops, I have to press the middle upwards, buy even if I just touch the middle the sound stops, what can I do now?

Well check well if the fan blades touch anything, it might touch something, also check if the screws are really tightened, if all this fails means that the card came with bad fan from the factory. If this is the case 2 choices: 1) buy a new replacement fan 2) RMA the card to give u a new one. I really suspect that the fan is touching something check really well and try to make room for the fan or push the thing its touching a little further from the fan.
