SATA-150 and SATA-300

I'm strongly considering buying a new motherboard soon, and after looking around I see that most new motherboards use SATA-300. I have a SATA-150 drive which I want to use so I need to know whether I can just get a motherboard with SATA-300 or if I need to buy a separate controller.

SATA 150 and SATA 300 controllers and drives are backwards compatible. You won't need a seperate controller.
