I'm currently trying to install a third Samsung 870 EVO SSD into my computer. I'm currently out of SATA power cable so I was looking to buy one. I'm not too knowledgeable about this topic so I apologize if I made any mistakes.

SSD:

The cables I bought:

Will this cable work?

If you current PC is working, you don't necessarily need an entirely new PSU to get an extra SATA power available, as powering an SSD is just a 2-4 watt load, so, some less expensive solutions are more than viable.

Does you PC perhaps have an available unused older molex cable available?

Alternatively, a splitter that takes one existing SATA power connector and in turn splits it into a pair, but, check for adequate lengths before ordering...
