Ok, I've had my XP installed on a SATA drive for awhile. My PSU went nuts awhile back. I had to replace my SATA drive. I've installed XP on the new drive and everything's been fine. It's been a few months and I did a fresh install of XP today, and no matter what I did, XP refused to install on any SATA drive I had installed - even an ATA drive in a SATA enclosure. Could my southbridge be acting up? XP installed just fine on my ATA drive. I have an overclocked system and I set everything back to normal for the fresh install. I read somewhere that it's a good idea. So is it my southbridge/SATA connection or my bios freaking out over something I overlooked when resetting my overclock to default speeds?
