Hi,

Im building three new computers. Have three asus p4d800- I motherboards
and Three Maxtor 120gig SATA drives. I am having a problem with the
computers bios recognizing the harddrives. I have tried the Maxtor recovery
disk, but it was unsuccessful finding the drive. The Harddrive are
operational I have test them on another machine and bio find them instantly.
The board also detects other Maxtor and western digital Sata drives. It seem
the motherboard im currently using cannot detect this drives

Im looking for help or other suggestions to try and possible get these
drives to work.

Some boards have a jumper to enable SATA. Check your manual and see if
yours is set correctly.
