I'm going be installing a SATA hard drive in my P4C800-E for extra data
storage. What I would like to know if you still need a driver for it even if
not using RAID option?

Yes. If it shows up as ok in your device manager then you already have the
driver.

Yes, you need to install the SATA driver.

Is that in the 'Intel Software Installation Utility V5.02.1003' ?
