Question SATA PM 1 port 0 won’t load past that

When I turn my PC on it skips past the boot screen and goes to a black screen with white letters and says

Using PCIE Gen 2
SATA PM 0 Port 1 ASUS DRW-24B1ST j

-to the right of the last two lines it says SATA 1 and SATA 3 respectively

it won’t move past this screen, I’ve tried switching around the SATA cables into different ports but it often just won’t show the last two lines at all. Any help appreciated!

If you disconnect the disks will it boot to the BIOS ?

Just tried disconnecting the HDD and the disk reader from the mb and powered on and it took me to the same screen but the last two lines weren’t there but it was still stuck on it

What motherboard is this?

Did something change that preceded this ?
