SATA Port Behavior

Z68XP-UD3 MB with WD2003FZEX-002Z5A0 HDD.
This is a new HDD that I put in to replace an older one. The measure to decide was HD Tune and long periods of 2MBs were happening (compared to over 100MBs. I tried SATA portss 2_5, 2_4, 2_3, 2_2, 3_1 and 3_2. The new drive had the same sort of behavior except 3_1 and 3_1 were better. Should the SATA ports each show different results? I even ran it in Safe Mode to reduce any other loading.

Thanks! That's helpful. Yet, the difference between 3GBps and 6GBps doesn't correlate with 120MBps vs 2MBps, The issue of these dropouts remains.
