SB Live _win2k update :(

Ive downloaded every damn update i can find,
latest creative drivers for sb live & win2k, sp2
and im STILL getting pops and cracks when playing wave files or using winamp with the output set as wave_out.dll.

am i missing anything? is there a patch i dont have?
PLEEEASE tell me.
seems only to be associated with wave out. games and movies work fine
also, with winamp if i change the output to directsound output (out_ds.dll) the pops go away, but the music does skip randomly. and this is with no other programs running, even those hidden "run at startup" ones.

you know I started to get the same problem with mine. It happens with wave files too, but I also get in games when explosions happen and other loud stuff.

I just thought of something. Are you overclocking? The increased PCI bus may make the card run crappy. I'm overclocking and am gonna try running it a little slower to see if it'll stop.
