Question Scam or not rtx 4090 amazon wrong card

Received the rtx 4090 box by amazon.
Opened it inside it was radeon 7900 xtx

Paid 1600 for rtx 4090 and got that.
I sent it back today.
They said once they received it will give refund.
May take 15 to 30 days.

Wtf just happened is this some sort joke

By looking at the seller store and there not even selling radeon 7900 xtx looks like someone has bought 4090 and swapped it with radeon 7900 xtx

this happens alot but when its reported the buyer is usually black listed ( yes you can do that as a seller on amazon)

Similar happened to me last month where I purchased a 4080 Super. The card, box, serial numbers were all legit - but installing it showed it to be a 4070 Ti. The seller was Amazon, not third party.

I took photos of everything, GPU-z, box, etc - and it did take 30 days for the refund but at least it happened.
