Motherboard-B760M D3HP(New)

Cpu-I5 12400F(New)

Gpu-RX6600XT(New)

PSU-Deepcool DN500 (3Years old)

SSD-Patriot P300 512GB(New)

I have two different brand and speed RAM sticks(Kingston 8GB 2666mhz and Transcend 3200mhz 8GB) and I am planning to buy G.skill Ripjaws V 2x16GB 3600mhz tommorow.

I was running 3D mark time spy and the noise is quite concerning as it does not sound like coil whine at all, I attached a yt shorts video so that it is easier to understand what it sounds like and hopefully find a fix for this, Thank you all in advance. Also I forgot to mention that whenever I am playing resident evil 2 in particular, the wattage drops from 150 to around 120-140 and frames with that of course, could there be something wrong with power supply?

I can barely hear it, but it seems to keep a steady cadence. Make sure there isn't a wire just barely touching a fan somewhere.
I stopped all the fans one by one and the sound was still there, also when the gpu fans are off it still makes that sound. Another weird thing I forgot to add to the post is that whenever I move my mouse on desktop the pc makes that same noise just in higher pitch.

Are the outlets in your home grounded properly? Do you get a static discharge if you touch the case?

Aside from this, I am out of options to consider. I do admit, strange.
I have never had this problem before and i dont get any kind of shock from touching the case, it really is weird I agree.

Well thank you for the help anyways,I hope this problem can be resolved in the future.

You should hear my 7800XT at first when I bought it and opened Baldur's Gate 3 with 3000+ FPS while loading the game. Sounds like really bad coil whine for me. Try undervolting, it should get quieter. Try locking FPS in game (that makes it produce whine) and if it stops then we know the reason.

So its coil whine thats causing this, because it really doesn't sound like it and I know that undervolting is actually better for the gpu lifespan and performance but I dont know how to properly do it, is there a tutorial you suggest?

You can do that easily in AMD's Adrenalin driver on the fly. Performance > Tuning > Manual Tuning > GPU Tuning ON > Advanced Control ON > There you can get voltage down, frequency for purpose of testing if you dont mind lower performance. You can drop few hundred of max frequency during time spy and find out if it gets lower.

I ran the benchmark with amd undervolt gpu preset and it does make the same sound just with another one on top of it, its like a time bomb ticking and it just continues as long as the benchmark is running.

If you are able to set Fan to 100% in Fan Tuning (same place as UV) and it does not cause the sound then it's coil whine. I've had this with PSU, ive had this with motherboard VRM and i've had this with GPU. Nothing to be worried about, but I would not be able to stay in a room with it as its so unpleasant.

Oh ok, as long as its fine. I was worried because the wattage was dropping down in re2 and thought that power supply was reaching its limit. I guess if it does that again I will have to ALT+TAB because when I do the wattage goes back to normal again.
