Hello,
I've got a need to both limit the time spent connected to the internet and the
content accessed by Family members and visitors. I need a router or WiFi router
with the firmware that will allow me to do the following.
Need 1: Set Custom DNS - I'm going to use OpenDNS
Need 2: Identify individual connected mac addresses Limit connection time by schedule,
ideally can be different by different days but at least set up something like;
e.g.
Laptop 1 - Block from 23:30-07:00
iPod Touch 1 - Block from 21:00 to 07:00
My current UK BT Homehub 2 fulfills the 1st need but does not allow the 2nd need. If I have to I'm ok with getting a router and flashing the firmwear to Tomato or WW-DRT or similar and then using a WiFi distributer.
Any suggestions please?
