I just noticed my monitor has outlines of the Spotify UI burned into the screen, the outlines of it are there regardless of what I put on the display. Photos below:

I have Spotify open most of the time on that monitor, but I turn the PC off every night and often move things in and out of that display, not only that but also it's a TN panel, not an OLED.
The monitor name is: Asus MG278Q

LCDs don't have burn in, but they do get a temporary effect called image persistence. You might be able to fix this by running this tool. It's a website that changes the pixels to a random color every refresh cycle.
I wasn't aware of that being a thing, thank you.

I ran that tool and put the window over one of the affected areas of the screen for 20min and it hasn't gone away, I'll shut everything down and see if the issue persists when I boot my PC up the next day.
