Question Screen freezes then tears/disoriented for around a minute.

I was playing Valorant. 2 times happened, both happened during Valorant. It was random and it happened with an interval around 4 weeks. It freezes then it disoriented the display for a minute. I wanted to know if this is because of the monitor or the GPU. Both my GPU which is an RX 580 Sapphire SE and the AOC 22B1H which is 2 years old.

Since I'm guessing someone who replies later will ask this question; I don't suppose you were able to get a screenshot of this? Or can you better describe what you mean by "disoriented the display?"

Since both times it's happened in the same game, have you made sure it's up to date and that you're running the latest drivers?

I just noticed your rep points, so I would think that that was the first thing you did, but I'm going to ask anyways just to rule it out.

I've never seen anything like that that wasn't some sort of driver or game update issue, or the game trying to render at either a resolution your monitor doesn't like, or at a speed it doesn't like.

Hopefully someone else has experienced this and can help more.

Yeah, I didn't capture. It was so sudden and I was focused at the game. So I kinda freezed out. All of my drivers are up to date. The weird thing is, both happened during Valorant. I don't know if its pure coincidence or not. I was on my way on changing my GPU tho. from RX 580 to RX 5600 XT. I guess I have to hope for the best that it isn't the monitor.
