Screen not powering up

I recently built myself a new computer, and every now and then the screen seemed to have trouble turning on with the computer, like the power button for the screen would flicker.

Today, my pc is on and running but the screen shows no sign of life. I have checked all connections, and the ac adapter (the power source to the screen) has a green led button but it is flashing.
No blue led's on my screen which usually tells me my screen is on.
Any help would be appreciated

This could be a problem with the moniter in general. Check if your pc is connected first, Then make sure that you have the moniter in a dry and cool place. Usualy this would be a problem with the moniter's backlight or the plarising filter might have torn but the LED doesnt work either. Maybe a coincidence but its a problem i cant help you with im afraid, sorry. Hopefully someone will answer this and be a MUCH bigger help than i am.
