Whenever I try to hop into a game (Other than minecraft for whatever reason) my pc will show strange blocks of varying color, usually gray, white or black. It also either says graphics card disconnected or graphics driver crashed. For ex. in arma 3 when it crashed it read the crash report as the graphics card being disconnected. I really don't think the problem is with the graphics card because this is one I got from a RMA because my old one would crash when playing games as well. The crash for the most part looked different but I have had the exact same crash once on this new GPU.

Thanks for all the help guys :)

Forgot, I should probably add specs
CPU: AMD Fx-4300 4 Core 3.8 Ghz
RAM: 4GB HyperX Fury (I had 8 but one seemed to be broken)
GPU: Vapor-X R9 280x 3GB DDR5
Storage: 500Gb 7200 Rpm HDD
Storage: 240Gb SSD (Intel)
Motherboard: MSI 760Gm-P34 (Fx) AM3+ Motherboard

Since you're having RAM issues, did you remove one of the modules? I might be causing you issues if it's still installed, but not functioning properly. Make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date as well. Any idea what your temps are when these issues occur?

Yeah, i removed one of the modules because I thought that the artifacting may have been caused by a bad stick. I took the good one out first and it didn't actually work so then I put the other one in instead and it worked. Graphics drivers are up to date and temps are 60C or less (60c was at load)

Yeah, I'm at a bit of loss... maybe some hardware failures occurring, but your rig shouldn't have any issues with those games. I wish I could be of more help, but you may have to wait for someone else to chime in.

Alright, thanks for the help man
