I have a 60hz monitor and I capped my fps at 60(I cap it at 144 fps all the time tho) and I get screen tearing.I dont want to turn on vsync and if I turn on I will still have tearings.Ehat should I do?

Solution
It would make for smoother gameplay. Try to get one with freesync that is certified by Nvidia to run with their gysnc. That would keep things smooth with the 144hz monitor.
So see if you can set your monitor to like 59hz. Try capping it at like 75. Screen tearing happens when there are too many frames trying to be produced on to the screen. Then the frames get out of sync and thus the tearing. Perhaps you can find a happy number to cap it at.

Will getting a 144hz monitor fix it?

Edit:Since I want an advantage in my gameplay since I am a competitive player
