Screen turns on and off again repeatedly

Hello,
Upon moving my mouse from a night on standby my monitor turns off and on repeatedly for a few minutes then rights itself.
i got an i7, gigabyte mobo, 6gigs ram, 750 watt power supply and hd 5870. 64 bit win 7 too. i was using 10.9 drivers and tried rolling back to 10.8 having the same problem. any help would be appreciated

Try rolling back to Catalyst 10.4 or 10.5 (Cant remember which) they said they solved the some standby issues in 10.9 but they might not have gotten them all.
