I have a MAC innovision screen. It is a 17" black. When I play The Sims 2 it
will stop & go black after a while of playing. The message it gives is"Mode
not supported" H:23.1KZ V:36.8HZ. Can any one tell me what that means & why
the game goes black& my screen freezes.

It would usually indicate that you have set a refresh rate which is higher
than the monitor can handle.
