Question [Screens] Port Forwarding - What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Below I've attached a couple of screens showing my router settings: I open port "37540" via TCP/UDP and direct at "192.168.1.2" which is the ip of my desktop computer.
Secondly, I have a screen showing that same port# in my Torrent-application but doing checks online it comes up as closed. Any obvious things I'm missing here guys?

There are 3 things you need to get port forwarding to work.

First and most important is you need a public IP. Make sure the ip you see in the port testing tool or a site like whatsmyip is the same IP as you see in the wan on your router.

Second you must have the rules correct and every router seem different. In your case do you need to check that box that says enabled. You might try DMZ it is less complex to configure but in the long term you do not want to open all ports.

Third there must be a program actually active on the port you are testing to send a response

Most likely your ISP blocks torrents, port forwarding won't help with that. I suspect this thread will get shut down by the forum mods.
