I have a 32 GB Kingston Micro SDHC card that has lots of music and pictures on it, as well as a couple backups of important files on my hard drive that have since disappeared. I've been using the card in my Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6 (Android version 2.2) for the past year or so mainly for music. However, about a month ago, the card corrupted. My Galaxy Player can still detect and mount the card, but it can't determine its size or read any of its contents. I've tried plugging the card into my ASUS MeMO Pad HD 7 tablet (Android version 4.2), but I have the same issue. If I connect either device to my computer via USB, I have the same problem yet again. I can open the shortcut to the card, but there aren't any files on it. I've also tried putting the SD card into an adapter and plugging it into my PC's built-in card reader, but Windows 7 doesn't even detect the card in that case. It doesn't show up in My Computer, Device Manager, or Computer Management. I've also tried this with Ubuntu 13.10, but the same issue arises; the card isn't even detected. Does anyone know how to recover the files and reformat the card to get it working again?
