Seagate External Hard Drive Not Found

Trying to find 8TB Seagate External Drive in My Computer, not showing up. When I go into Device Manager>Disk Drivex, it's there and said to be completely operational and working. How do I access the drive? No prompts, downloads, or anything when plugged into computer. Goal is to take information and upload to enterprise dropbox account for file sharing. Help!? Thank You!

sufficientrefuge, was this drive working on this unit before? Is it detected in the BIOS? Can we have a screenshot of your disk management as well as your computer specs?

This is the first time I have plugged it into my laptop. I don't know how to detect it in the BIOS...
I don't think this site allows you to attach screenshots although I took them.

sufficientrefuge, to get into the BIOS: Press and hold the F2 button then click the power button. DO NOT RELEASE the F2 button until the BIOS screen display. There look for boot menu or configuration and see if the drive in question is listed.
