Well I never take it that personal. There are nicer ways to say it, but the point is the same. It is first a benifit for the person looking for an answer. Alot of times out of a hundred the question has been answered and sometimes one or two threads earlier.

I copy that over from another post where I replied, and I didn't have time to change anything. I was a little upset when I first saw it, because it reminds me when I use to ask a questions, or still see someone els get bashed for asking a question. No matter how small, simple, or what ever. I feel anyone should be a loud to ask what ever question they want, without worry about getting bashed, or told to search. Because it is not always told so politely. And I know a lot of you, if not all, know what I am talking about. In away I'm trying to protect myself and other people. I can't save the world, and not everybody will think the same way I do, but at least I have a chance to speak my mind. "search before you post" seems harmless enough, but IMO it can get out of hand, and that is the point I'm trying to make.
My second beef is, let's keep this place a life. How would you like to come here and no new post have been made. We all heard the phrase "all has gone quiet" or something like that, that's because nobody is posting. Have you ever seen some of the answer people give, maybe they should search before they apply, including myself, lol. Hay, we can't all be techs, and if we wait for one to answer it may be awhile. So I support activity right or wrong answer, to a degree, well you know what I mean. "Search before you post" is a tool, there are many other ways to find you answer. What are the odds this will work, how long will it take to find the answer, does the answer still hold true today, and so on. And what is the ideal here? To find an answer, could also slow down the action, but I doubt it. THG is where you go to ask question, get second opinions, it's pretty fun getting involved. Maybe some of these question will be easy ones, great!!! I might be able to answer some of them, hehe. Or a newbie can give his two cent, or an old pro can take a breather. And for each person that doesn't want to answer the question, there is one, more then happy to do his/her part and get involved. Hack, I recently seen people give full details of completes systems to get, AMD or Intel.
Anyways the rest is just bla bla bla. Not to be mistake as search before you post won't work, but I think it should be a suggestions, and not in your face enforced. Hopefully this won't be a debate, since it is IMO, and I already said all that I needed to, to make my point.
