I've had this problem for a while now and after searching Google and the forums I'm hoping someone here can help me out with this. I have a dual monitor setup with an Acer Predator XB241H conneced with DisplayPort set as my primary monitor and an Acer H226HQL connected with HDMI set as my second. Sometime I boot the system and I have no problems with either. Other times when I boot, only the second monitor will display anything or even be detected. When this happens I can reboot, sometimes several times, and both monitors will work without issue. I've tried new cables, updating the video drivers and BIOS, and messed arounf with vatious power settings, but nothing has helped. I don't have another PSU to try that but I'm hoping thats not the issue. I'll list my specs below, any help would be greatly appeciated.

OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU: AMD DX-8350
Mobo: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
RAM: G.Skill Dual Channel DDR3 16GB (4x4GB)
GPU: MSI GTX 970
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2

It's impossible to get a second monitor showing up at boot. The BIOS can only support 1 display at boot. But the real problem here is if you can't get your monitor working in the OS. I use a dual monitor setup and the sencond monitor don't work at boot neither but in my OS its perfectly fine.

I understand what you're saying and I know only one monitor is supported at boot but the issue is that the second monitor will sometimes never turn on or be detected by the OS.
