Question Seeing vertical lines on Asus monitor

I bought Asus VG249QL3A monitor (1080p, 180hz, IPS). However I'm experiencing a major problem with it:

When the monitor is working at 60Hz, I see vertical lines when there are moving objects (such as the rotating Nvidia logo on Nvidia control panel), or when my eyes move from one spot of the screen to another. When the refresh rate is raised to 180, the lines disappear. However, some games I play support only up to 60 FPS and the monitor has to tune down to 60Hz, where the issue surfaces.

The picture is not mine, but the phenomenon is very similar to this: View: https://i.imgur.com/qFvR3HB.png

What is this? I did some research and came across something called pixel inversion / pixel walking, is that it? Is it caused by a faulty product or is it the nature of the panel used in this model? I'm now considering buying a different monitor (LG Ultragear 24GS60F-B), is there anything I can do beforehand to avoid this (something to look for/avoid in monitor specs)?

Thanks.

You might want to share images of what you're seeing. Imgur allows you to host videos as well.

What are you using to drive the monitor? How are you tethered to the monitor from your display output port? What games are you taxing the monitor/system with?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

My apologies. Build goes like:

9800x3d
Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360
Asus X870E-E
64GB GSkill
Samsung 990 Pro
RTX 4070 TI
Corsair Rm1200x
Windows 11 Home

Although, it's likely not realted to the rest of the build as I've hooked it to a completely different computer and the same thing occurs.

The image I posted shows it perfectly. As in the bottom picture, moving things appear to have vertical lines throughout. Only occurs at 60Hz (but as some of my games need to run at this rate it poses a problem).

What are you using to drive the monitor? How are you tethered to the monitor from your display output port? What games are you taxing the monitor/system with?

I have tried both using display port and HDMI (both, on both pcs).

I don't need to open a specific program/game for it to happen. As long as it's running at 60Hz, simply looking at the rotating Nvidia logo on the Nvidia Control Panel is enough to notice the vertical lines, or a simple action like dragging a mouse selection area.
