seeking a Microphone that fits my idea but dont know if there is one out there.

i am looking for a microphone that could possible sit on my monitor, under my monitor, or anywhere not close to my face. so it needs to be able to pick up my voice from a feet or so away from me.

but when it comes to microphones selections i dont really have a clue. is it possible to use a blue snow and there is a mount that can help me here? but don't know if that can hear my voice from that distance.

The experience I have had setting up mics for personal use is that it can be a bit tedious to get the optimal settings. Have you tried searching for long range microphone or something?

I have a blue snowball mic screwed on a adjustable mic arm, the snowball is held right above/behind my monitors and everyone can hear me just fine. I sit anywhere for 3-4 feet way from the monitors.

Unless your trying for studio quality sound the ice will do just fine. I just checked and im running the Ice.

alright thx, going to check review on both models to see if the 10$ differences may or may not have some features that i dont want.
question how do i check to see what mounts are support and do you have a cheap mount in mind?

just to let you know i decide to buy the ice version since i dont need the other listing modes and..kinda like to keep my desk clean so i will skip out on the stand and simple have the mic on the side/back. thanks for the information.
