Title: Seeking Feedback on Desktop PCs and Monitors for High-Level Gaming (First Gaming PC for Cousin)

Hey everyone!

I'm currently in the process of building a gaming PC for my cousin, who is venturing into the world of gaming and needs a solid setup to enjoy games like Apex Legends, Ark Survival Evolved, Brawlhalla, and Fortnite at a high level. Since this is his first gaming PC, I want to ensure that it provides a smooth gaming experience with great visuals. Before finalizing the components, I would greatly appreciate your feedback and recommendations to ensure that we make the best choices.

Desktop PC Options:

1. Option 1 - Prebuilt Gaming PC GM 99608 (Currently Sold Out)
2. Option 2 - Prebuilt Gaming PC GM 7216
3. Option 3 - Velztorm Mini Pilum CTO Gaming Desktop PC
4. Option 4 - MSI Gaming Desktop Aegis ZS 5DS-263US (Refurbished)

Monitor Options:

1. Option 1 - MSI 34" 100 Hz VA UWQHD
2. Option 2 - Westinghouse WC34DX9019
3. Option 3 - Samsung CRG9 Series LC49RG90SSNXZA

Considering that this is my cousin's first gaming PC, we want to strike a balance between performance and cost-effectiveness. If any of you have experience with the mentioned desktop PCs or monitors, or if you have alternative suggestions that would better suit my cousin's needs, please share your insights. Any feedback, advice, or personal experiences you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your assistance in helping my cousin embark on his gaming journey with a solid PC setup!

Hey there,

If you absolutely have to get a pre-build, then here's some info

1. Option 1 - Prebuilt Gaming PC GM 99608 (Currently Sold Out)
This one has the strongest GPU, but only 1 x 16gb ram. This is a problem for this system. It needs dual channel and fast ram.
2. Option 2 - Prebuilt Gaming PC GM 7216
Same as option 1, needs dual channel and fast ram
3. Option 3 - Velztorm Mini Pilum CTO Gaming Desktop PC
This option has an older model CPU, and wouldn't be great to go with a current high end GPU. It's customisable, but is missing info on the ram. (IMO, I'd skip this one.)
4. Option 4 - MSI Gaming Desktop Aegis ZS 5DS-263US (Refurbished)
This one has dual channel, and a strong gaming CPU, and a good 12gb card from AMD. (Keeping in mind all those cards above (apart from the 3060) are slightly stronger than the 6700xt

Rather than a pre-built, I'd suggest going the custom build route. Better bang for buck.. Otherwise, if you are comfortable with the innards of a PC, then @Why_Me build is really good.
